A set of three 2D explainer animations for Airalo, a leading eSIM provider, demonstrating how eSIM technology simplifies international travel by replacing physical SIM cards, how Dual eSIMs can be utilized, and how to update eSIM packages. We handled both the animation and illustrations, using bright, colorful visuals aligned with the company’s branding. The animations feature smooth transitions, character animation, and dynamic motion graphics to clearly communicate the benefits of eSIMs. This project highlights expertise in 2D animation, digital illustration, and explainer video production, enhancing user engagement and understanding.

Is There an eSIM For My Desired Country?
Above is the first explainer animation created for Airalo focusing on visually explaining how users can find an eSIM for their travel needs. The animation uses engaging 2D graphics to show a traveler browsing eSIM options for over 200 destinations. The smooth transitions, dynamic character animation, and motion graphics highlight the ease of navigating Airalo's app and website to select the right eSIM plan. This project effectively merges illustration and animation techniques to enhance user experience and reinforce the benefits of eSIM technology.

The second animation features a character navigating through Airalo's eSIM packages, demonstrating how users can manage their data plans and validity periods. It effectively communicates the process of selecting, activating, and extending an eSIM package in a clear and engaging way.
With smooth transitions, vibrant visuals, and fluid character animation, the video simplifies complex technical information, making it accessible to a broad audience. The final product enhances Airalo’s brand presence, appealing to both tech-savvy travelers and first-time eSIM users.

What Is Dual SIM Technology?
This 2D animation was created to illustrate the advantages of Dual SIM technology and its synergy with eSIMs. The animation features a character navigating various scenarios: making business calls in an office and managing personal communications and social media at home. This visual approach demonstrates how Dual SIM technology allows users to simultaneously operate multiple SIM cards and eSIMs.
The animation effectively conveys how Dual SIM functionality supports diverse needs, such as adding a local data plan while traveling, maintaining separate work and personal lines, or using different mobile plans for calls and data. The engaging visuals and a clear explanation make complex concepts accessible and relatable to viewers.
